HDSG-500 is a rugged, portable and intuitive device for video engineers. The HDSG-500 is equipped with both a 5.5″ HD monitor and test signal generator, allowing you to easily detect and diagnose problems anywhere.
The HDSG-500’s monitor comes with several useful overlays including a waveform viewer, signal information and audio levels. The HDSG-500 also supports a variety of input formats (see spec sheet for details).
Additionally, the HDSG-500 is equipped with a test signal generator, capable of playing back SMPTE ColorBars, 75% Full ColorBars, A/V LipSync, FastBounce and many more. All test patterns have support for embedding audio, timecodes or a motion circle to ensure full functionality of your monitor.
Made in Japan to the highest standards, the HDSG-500 perfectly complements Marshall Cameras and is the perfect tool to Monitor and Test all your signals across all video formats.
With a high quality HD 5.5" LCD Screen, the HDSG-500 is designed for use in the harshest environments and is ideal for all Outside Broadcast (OB), Live Production, Video Streaming and Wiring / Cable installation and maintenance.
As a Test Pattern Generator the HDSG-500 outputs an array of test signals including SMPTE ColourBars, 75% Full ColourBars, A/V LipSync, Fast Bounce and many others. All test patterns come complete with 4 groups each with 4 channels of adjustable audio level and output as embedded audio, and timecode. A motion Circle pattern can also be selected.
Monitoring Tool
In monitoring mode the HDSG-500 provides the usual intelligent display tools including Video Format, Waveform, Audio Meter and Embedded Timecode.
Competitively priced the compact and rugged the HDSG-500 is a similar size to an iPhone Plus, and includes an integral NPF battery plate although other powering options are possible (7 ~ 30v DC) via the included DC power cable. The HDSG-500 is further supported by a 2 year warranty for peace of mind.
