DATAVIDEO are pleased to announce that they have increased the plan limits for both dvCloud Essentials and dvCloud Professional.

Why has Datavideo made these changes?

In the case of dvCloud Professional, we have an increasing number of small TV stations wanting to use dvCloud along with our SRT enabled encoders and decoders to distribute feeds between sites, the number of live video sources was always a limiting factor. As a reminder, dvCloud allows you to connect encoders to decoders via SRT without any firewall configuration, perhaps even more importantly for organisations with multiple encoders and decoders, you can monitor and control your fleet of decoders via a single cloud interface, connecting encoders to decoders is a two click operation.

In the case of dvCloud Essentials, we had several requests to extend the number of BB-1 devices it can support. Many organisations want to control two remote locations from one central studio, hence the need for three BB-1 devices. We also had a number of requests to support more than one live source, this gives us a clear advantage over many of the mass market re-streaming services that only support a single encoder per plan.

In summary, these changes along with the fact that dvCloud offers unlimited data transfer make both plans extremely competitive.
