The XA55 camcorder is a highly compact and lightweight device, ideal for feature-packed 4K filming. Suitable for documentary filmmaking and journalism, this camcorder can also be used no matter your level of proficiency, including experienced video recorders, students and even beginners. Packed with an impressive Dual Pixel CMOS AF, 15x optical zoom, 9-bladed iris, 4K UHD and Full HD movie capabilities, you can ensure excellent image quality that captures detail. The XA55 camcorder also supports multi-format recording including, XF-AVC and MP4. XF-AVC 4K UHD 160 Mbps records at 25P, while Full HD 45 Mbps records at 50P/50i/25P. Plus, dual SD card slots, 3G-SDI, two XLR terminals and low power consumption, are just a few of the extra professional functionalities that make this camcorder an asset for handheld filmmaking.
