The Autocue 17” Pioneer Portable Teleprompter is designed for people on the move. The high-spec monitor with a medium-sized hood gives you a studio-style teleprompter that travels well and performs in every location. Its adjustable mounting kit ensures that setup goes smoothly with the simple tuning of the hood height so that the lens is always in the middle of the glass, and a counterweight is included to centre the load of the prompter on the camera support.

Pioneer Series packages include Autocue’s highest-spec monitors with a brightness that will outperform any lighting situation to keep your presenter on the script. As with all Autocue monitors they have a robust metal housing ready to take years of hard work. Autocue has selected a 17” monitor for this system because it’s a good size to transport and with around a 6m/20’ max reading range it’s big enough for most production spaces. With HD-SDI, CVBS, VGA, and HDMI inputs to choose from you can be sure the prompter will integrate whether you have a single PC or a full broadcast facility.

The Pioneer Series Portable Teleprompter has Autocue’s medium hood which allows for all but the widest angle lenses and packs more easily than its larger sibling. Formed from a lightweight composite, the hood holds Autocue 70:30 beamsplitter glass that displays the text to the presenter while keeping it invisible to the camera. Autocue recommends the Pioneer Portable Prompter Case (P7018-1850), with a hard shell and helpful wheels to protect your system on its travels.
