The 12G-AM is an 8-channel AES audio embedder/disembedder Mini-Converter with support for 12G-SDI input and output up to 4K/UltraHD. Fiber models offer single link fiber I/O including LC and ST options. 

AES Audio disembedding is always functional, providing four AES outputs. Audio embedding is user selectable, on a channel pair basis, to either pass 12G-SDI input audio or to embed input AES audio from the breakout cable. 

The 12G-AM automatically detects and configures the input video standard.

12G-AM-T-ST Workflow
The 12G-AM in this workflow diagram is receiving 4K video and embedded audio via 12G-SDI. At the same time, the 12G-AM is disembedding AES audio to the AES I/O for mixing. Additional inputs, like a microphone or other auxiliary can also be added to the mix.

The output of the mixer is then embedded into the SDI stream being output via the 12G-SDI port of the 12G-AM. This 12G-SDI output is fed directly to a Ki Pro Ultra 12G to record the original 4K video with the newly embedded, mixed audio. At the same time the ST fiber output is fed to FIDO mini-converter for video village use, allowing multiple monitors to be fed the same video.
